DTT is for students with severe social, emotional, or behavioral disabilities and those with Autism, Asperger Syndrome or other sensory-integrative disabilities that affect behavior, learning, and social interactions.

Federal Stimulus Money is available for Staff Development and Training. School Districts and educational agencies can apply for federal stimulus money from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) for staff development funds to expand skills of those working with students who have emotional or behavioral disabilities. The Developmental Therapy-Teaching Programs at the University of Georgia offer a range of staff development options for advanced training.
